Farscape – A Brilliant Sci Fi TV Series
Heard of Farscape?
You probably haven’t.
I first encountered it on AXN back in the days when everyone had cable. There was an ad for a new science fiction show. I thought it would be interesting and watched the first show. It was surprising good.
But I’ve never been a person who watches TV regularly. (These days I set alarms on my cell phones to not miss shows.) So I kept missing episodes. My parents would also want to watch some ridiculous stuff at the same time.
A few years later, when we had access to some unlimited internet connections (but still Fraudband) I got some people to download all the Farscape episodes.
The show is science fiction and has plenty of action, space battles, gadgets, animatronic puppets (which means less humans in coloured costumes representing alien species) and an excellent storyline. The characters are unique and each have well developed back stories that are revealed later. Ben Browder and Claudia Black are just brilliant as the lead actors and you can watch the show just for them.
I can honestly say that this is the best television series I’ve ever seen. You should definitely watch it. I have the disks if you want them.
Xavier is downloading Stargate SG-1 episodes for me. It isn’t as good as Farscape… yet. We’ll see how it goes. After that I’ll get Battlestar Galactica.

I knew you’d say that. You say that every single time I mention Farscape. You can’t evaluate it with one episode.

Ha ha, I know. I couldn’t help it.
Also, I thought I coined fraudband. They stole it from me! Ah wells. A friend of mine thought she coined, “Chillax!” and I said, “Ha ha ha…” well, no I didn’t. I actually laughed.

As a vetran of many Sci-Fi serials, let me recommend Battlestar Galactica and Firefly.

If you haven’t seen Farscape, I wouldn’t call you a veteran.
I’m watching Stargate SG1 now. Battlestar Galactica would be after that.
