Google PageRank Updated – November 2007
Ever since I moved from the mindfault.net domain to the current marcvz.net domain, I’ve been waiting for Google to update their PageRank. After many months of waiting, they’ve updated. I’m back at my old PR of 3, which is decent for a personal blog.
Why is this so important? Well, advertisers at sites like use PageRank as one of the factors in determining how much they will pay for a review on my blog. With a PR of 0 these past few months, I haven’t been able to land any reviews.
If you want in on the action, contact me to get a WordPress blog at Ampli5.org. Vinod and Hariharan have noticed that they have a PR of 2 even with very few posts simply because they were on the Ampli5 domain. I’m thinking of charging a 10% commission.

Yes, domains and subdomains have different rankings. I noticed that with the old domain. How did you guys get 2 and 3? You barely ever update.

I have no clue.
By the way, if you charged the commission, would that mean they’d get only 1.8 as a PR? Not bad, I’d say.
