I Can Has Internet?

A few days ago I received a text message from Airtel.

oh hai. u has AIRTEL LIVE. i sendz u settinks. plz save.

I thought to myself:

o rly?

And I saved the settings that were sent a few seconds later. Airtel then sent another message:

ya rly. congrats settinks saved 2 ur fone. i no asks monies for lukin. onli downlodin. kthnxbye.

So I fired up my browser and hey, I actually had interent access. I changed some preferences in the new Opera Mobile browser and tried out the different display modes. Then I went to the Gmail application and testing to see if it worked too. It did. And it looked like they weren’t charging me anything. It was connecting at EDGE speeds too. (Yes, my phone has that.)

Unfortunately I lost access in a few minutes and couldn’t connect again. Perhaps my balance was too low. I’ve deleted the settings and I’ll request them once again.

Yes, that’s what it is. Airtel didn’t send it like that though they said ‘hv’ instead of ‘have’.
