Holidays Rule!
Holidays are freakin’ awesome. Mostly because I don’t have to wake up early in the morning. Who created this practice of waking up at sunrise? Sadistic bastards! It is such an amazing feeling to wake up yourself without an alarm and lying in bed until you feel like getting up. Why can’t every start working beyond 10 AM?
And then you can do whatever you want. Eat whatever you want whenever you want. Spend two hours reading all the newspapers and the supplements. Go back to sleep if you feel like it. All the days blur into one and you can’t remember what day it is. Dreams and reality merge and sometimes you’re not sure if something really did happen or if it was just in a dream. It’s a nice unsettling feeling.
All you people who find the holidays boring, there is something seriously wrong with you. You must be a dull engineering student whose only hobbies are cricket and Tamil movies. I’m so glad I’m not you.

I love that unsettling feeling. But I need coffee, and thats never available the time I wake up. 1 PM. So, I merge lunch and tiffin, and have one large mug of coffee and skip off to somewhere. Then come back home, do this, that, bug my brother who’s studying for his exams and then go to bed at 2AM. If only coffee was unlimited. Ah.

Man I got one more exam
but i get one month off after that. and oh yea I got 2 months before the exam and nearly 1 month during the exam xD

Adithya has raised another point I always think of. You get a lot of leave before the exams, a lot of leave after the exams, and three days between each exam. Dont you get the feeling they conduct exams in between holidays?
How the hell do they expect students to remember they have exams and turn up?

Adithya, you guys get way too many holidays.
Since we don’t get that many holidays before and during the exams, Sundar, so that’s not that big a problem. The study holidays are the first bunch of holidays after a long semester and they go by really fast.

That is only rarely. We never get holidays at all. Some semesters even continued without any holidays.
