WP SpamFree Is Really Good

Earlier I had talked about WP SpamFree, a new WordPress plugin that promised to drastically reduce the number of automated comment spam that plague most blogs.

I would like to report that the plugin is very very effective. The Akismet spam queue which used to have about one hundred entries a day now has just one or two. Sometimes even zero spam comments. No one has reported missing comments so real comments are not trashed. Very effective. I wonder how it works…

Going to install this tonight. Was using reCAPTURA and was not getting any posts on my blog. I think it was scaring the people away by asking them to perform a task just to post.

Is this hard to install?

Not at all. Just upload and activate plugin and you’re done. No configuration necessary.
