Modified Symposium Poster

Some of my juniors were given the task of inserting all the stuff I missed out from the poster and also were also asked to improve it. This is what they came up with:

Impulse Beta

I’m not very impressed. It looks much brighter, yes, but it also doesn’t look fully finished. That yellow just doesn’t belong there and the header text is simply too bright. It just doesn’t have that finished look that we need. What do you think? The previous version of the poster are here.

The font on the previous one was better. Just change the color in that one.

I just commented on the other post and there’s already another post :D

A few things that I think look odd.

    “Any innovative model targeting…”

won’t “any innovative model on..” do ?

The date should be just below IMPULSE 08 and not at the bottom left.

Dept of CSE and ACE would have been better I guess. (Since ACE will qualify as a student body.)

  3. Sundar says:

    Gather… conducting symposiums and all.

  4. Marc Z says:

The text isn’t mine. I corrected it on the old poster but now it’s back. Agreed about the date. That’s where I would have put it had I remembered to.

ACE should not have been mentioned. Another error.

  5. Marc Z says:

Sundar, you guys have been doing it for years. You are the pros.

    Man! where are robots.

  7. Marc Z says:

Yeah they took them off. Hopefully they’re back in the final version Bala and Mathavan put together.
