Overpriced, Overhyped - Yet Another Apple Product

People are raving about the MacBook Air, the newest laptop from Apple. Even people who will never buy it feel compelled to post images of this thin laptop in four different angles and include a few superlatives.

Let us be realistic here. This laptop is very expensive. At $1800 (Rs. 68,400) this is not something many people would buy when there are cheaper alternatives available. A good product is one that offers amazing features for an attractive price. This MacBook Air does not even have an optical drive!

Just because the product is from Apple is no reason to immediately place it at the top. Do your own research. Gizmodo compared some laptops with this one and you can see their conclusion here.
