Terrorists on Blogspot

You know, the reason we don’t have the Government messing around with the Internet in India is because they’re all old people who don’t really understand how the Internet works and don’t have the time or patience to learn it. And they don’t employ young people since youngsters in India are magically less knowledgeable than their elders regardless of actual experience or skill.

So you find them doing dumb things like forcing ISPs to block the entire Blogspot.com domain for a while and then giving stupid reasons for it. Terrorists using blogs to communicate?! Well, actually, this London bomber (of Indian origin I think) or someone sent someone scraps about his plan on Orkut. On Orkut! Scraps! Even our terrorists are incompetent!

Then they issue press releases claiming that they tracked criminals using their IP addresses and similar bullshit to fool the equally uninformed public and make themselves look good.

Anyway, the point is we don’t have to worry about privacy issues like the Government spying on us or phone tapping. The former because there are simply too many of us to spy on (the bad people aren’t usually hanging about online communicating to terrorist cells through Orkut and Blogspot) and the latter because even the Government can’t get the BSNL linemen to follow orders.

Also you must have at least 70 IQ points to understand the internet - and the max IQ limit for politicians is 50.

Marc, you got it wrong. The actual act of scrapping people in orkut is sometimes terrorism. I indulge in it sometimes. Lucky the law has no idea what’s going on.

I’ve just scrapped you on orkut. Cheers!

Binny, I think apes have higher IQ than that!

Sundar, you are right… this time. Stop leaving me scraps on Orkut!
