Legal System Not Working, Sorry For The Inconvenience

Every day in the newspapers you hear about crimes being solved and sentences handed out to offenders. But if you read the entire article you will find that actual crime occurred atleast 10 years ago! The legal system in India is infamous for taking decades to clear cases.

In that time the offenders live their lives peacefully, showing up in court now and then to get their cases postponed. Witnesses turn hostile, thugs/policemen rape/kill/maim/intimidate the other witnesses and everyone else has forgotten about the incident. The police are also skilled at manufacturing evidence and conspire with whoever pays the most money to destroy actual evidence and train false witnesses.

By the time the final verdict is announced the original judge is dead, the victim is in hospital dying of old age (if they haven’t already been murdered), the children of the victim have forgotten what the case was about and the accused has become a respected figure in society.

I’m not just saying these things. They happen all the time. Just ask anyone who’s gone to court.

What a coincidence, I just posted about the legal system too, though slightly :D shorter. Anyway, yeah, it’s quite awful. The system is biased towards the criminal.

Only this F***ing country has this phenomenal problem,Bcoz nobody in this country is perfect!!!!

  4. Suren says:

unless you get media attention for the case. that spurs politicians to act.

they tried to take action in the mumbai molestation case without the victims lodging a formal complaint!

  5. Marc Z says:

The case gets coverage only as long as the media is interested. When media exposure stops everyone drops work on the case.

  6. George says:

One would think we’re in 17th Century England, And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined.

    Aravindhan: Nobody anywhere is perfect!

  7. Marc Z says:

Yeah I wanted to say that. No one is perfect anywhere. An odd thing to say.
