Sleep Is Overrated
After extensive research on the subject, I conclude that by going to sleep late at night (4 AM) and waking up late the next day (3 PM) I spend a few extra hours sleeping that I could do without. So I’ve started going to bed at 1 AM and I find myself waking up automatically at 10 AM. Not only is this more comfortable, I also save two hours, which I can then use for something else. Like writing about how I saved that time.
Holidays rule, because you can do stuff like this.
Incidentally, let’s laugh at George who has to go to college every day. (He doesn’t, but that is besides the point.)

4 to 3 is like 11 hours. Even I don’t sleep that much straight. (I take an afternoon/evening nap). You must be on drugs!!
I sleep at around 1-2 and get up at around 12-1 …wait thats 11 hours again!! Plus the evening sleep….Just got up today.

So you have just concluded that you must be on drugs.

Even my parents doubted that
but then I don’t have enough money to buy chewing gum, let alone drugs. I am on prescribed medication though.
You my man, on the other hand have a lot of money.

The only reason I’d buy drugs is to sell them to junkies like you at higher rates.

What??? You go to bed at 1AM itself? Damn it man! Then, will it cut down in our daily Condition Zero playing time?

Early to bed, early to rise stays healthy, wealthy and wise.

Thanks for your touching concern, Praveen.
Arun, look before you sleep.

There was this old joke on RD that went like this: The early bird catches the worm, but look at the plight of the worm that got up early! It gets eaten by a bird!

Good one!

Dude, you ought to try sleeping between 4 and 8. Gives ya so much time to do other stuff. You may feel punch drunk after lunch or even at midnight but the feeling will pass.

Rajesh, I do not plan on completely ruining my health, thanks.

Ah. In that case, try polyphasic sleep.
Your blog is rather infuriating. I generally visit my bookmarked blogs once in two months or so and I read through everything that’s transpired in that period. Your blog makes that impossible.

Yes, I can see how. You might want to use a feed reader instead. Makes thing simpler.

Rajesh Tashi? How did that happen?
February 15th, 2008 at 9:27 pm
That’s not his second name either. It’s complicated.
