Hunters Rule!
Here’s a link to my character profile on the WoW Armory: Animor
I’m playing an Orc Hunter now and I’m at level 14. I must say the Hunter is much more interesting to play than the Rogue and you also get nice crowd control features because of your pet that come in useful in emergency situations.
For example, if you are running away from a huge fight you can use your pet to delay a monster than is following you. Or you can get the pet to tank an opponent while you engage another.

Hunter crowd control? Rofl. What crowd control? Fear, Howl of Terror, Death Coil, Seduction now that’s crowd control
Plus my voidwalker can engage 3 opponents at a time

I have similar abilities. My pet can draw aggro which stop creatures from attacking me. I can then hit them from a safe distance with bows. I also have slowdown and a fear-like ability for monsters.
Plus if it’s a bad pull I can let the pet die there and be safe.
While you concentrate on your demons I diversify with traps and stuff.

Fear, Howl of Terror, Death Coil really won’t help if you fear a few mobs and they run into more and aggro them xD
what spec are you goin for marc?

Beast Mastery at first. Might change to Marksmanship later for better range.
I’m going to take engineering so that with Feign Death (that can take me out of combat completely) and Goblin Jumper Cables I can resurrect also.
