Think Gamer

Here’s a take on the Think Different campaign by Apple.

Anti Mac

If you want to play games, you get Windows XP. Fact of life. You could of course install Windows on a Mac and play the games, but then you’d be conceding defeat.

The only reason that keep me using XP is games. Else i would have started using MANDRIVA
Is it true that Wine can be used to implement Windows on Unix and does it work with the games.

  2. sharad says:

actually XP…is the most user friendly…hence it is being sold worldwide successfully!

  3. Vivek (Avenger) says:

    yup…..sharad is rite

  4. Marc Z says:

Gowtham, WINE works well only for a few games. There are a lot of bugs and issues. Not worth it.

sharad and Vivek, what other operating systems have you used?

  5. Binny V A says:

I have installed a lot of games on Wine - and a lot have failed. But its getting better. One day it will be as good as windows.

  6. sindhu says:

and you told me to remove XP. what’s with the two sides?

  7. Ramanujam says:

MAC is matchless and any day Windows will fall at its feet!

If not for u gaming freaks i wud hands down say Windows sucks big time!

    -I am a MAC!!

  8. Suryas says:

@Marc, Yeah fine then i will continue using XP
@Binny, Hope so! Lets keep our fingers crossed.

  9. Marc Z says:

Sindhu, you don’t play games. (Plus I was kidding.)

Ramanujam, if not for games fewer people would be using Windows.

  10. George says:

True enough about the games. Linux video drivers aren’t as good as their Windows counterparts, even for Intel.

Dude, could you pleeease tell me where you’ve found that desktop from which the pic above was taken? I’ve had it on my old laptop which I don’t own any more, and haven’t been able to find it again on the net ever since.

Thanks very much in advance ^^
