Updated to WordPress 2.5
The newest version of WordPress (version 2.5) came out five days ago and I decided to update today.
The problem with updating within weeks of a new version coming out, especially when the version has significant changes, is that plugins and themes become incompatible. So instead of just upgrading over the current blog installation like I usually do, I decided to start off with a fresh copy of all the files (except the wp-content/uploads directory and the wp-config.php file).
Now I want a theme that is perfectly compatible with 2.5 and not many theme authors have released updates immediately which is why you’ll be seeing a lot of changes and themes on the blog until I settle on one I like. I’m also slowly adding all the plugins I use as and when they become updated. Time consuming. Hopefully the new features are worth it.

This is what I am worried about. I wonder whether my theme will be compatible with Wordpress 2.5…

You think that because you haven’t seen the WoW site. It’s a pretty good theme. I’d use it if it didn’t lack a header.

Ooh, new login and panel, interesting.
You should be able to make a new header with little trouble. Use the same borders as this main box. It should look okay.
I have to admit I preferred the older theme.

Ah, I found the theme I was looking for. I’ve had it for a while. Needs more modification.
Gowtham, it does work. Remember to backup before you try to upgrade.

The comments link is to the left of each post below the date. It is technically just the permalink of the page that you can get to by clicking the post title also. I’m not going to change the template to the old one just because you couldn’t find the comments section.
I didn’t buy it, I accquired this template.
