It’s A Fracture, Yaar

My foot still hurts after yesterday’s accident and I have trouble putting weight on that foot. My little toe was swollen and slightly discoloured so I suspected that I might have a hairline fracture. My dad also insisted that I get anti-tetanus shot within 24 hours of yesterday’s accident so off we went to the hospital. The GP didn’t find anything wrong with the foot in the X-ray and sent me away after applying a dressing on the abrasion (fancy word for ‘wound’).

However my parents found what looked like a small crack when examining the X-ray at home and took me to see an orthopaedician. This guy immediately confirmed that it was indeed a crack and bandaged up the little toe and the one next to it with tape. He also said that there was nothing to worry about and that I could walk normally, as long as I didn’t put any strain on that particular toe. I was annoyed that he wasn’t very impressed my injury. This was my first fracture, after all.

Looks like I’m going to be limping around for the next 2 or 3 weeks. T_T

Post title ‘inspired’ by Sivakumar, who is under the mistaken impression that saying ‘yaar’ all the time makes him sound cool.

Cool, I have a fractured hairline. We’re practically related.

Ha ha, I know how those feel. I really do, having had fractures many times. Clumsy, you see.

Guess, if you had trained hard fighting Ragha like me, this would never have happened to your leg. Or learning to drive like him.

[...] ha ! Marc has fractured his toe while trying to copy my style of rash driving. It’s very surprising to know he can hurt [...]

PSP is the founder of Orkut so nothing can ever happen to him.
