How do you celebrate Mother’s Day? You can buy her a nice present, take her out shopping or you can:

Thanks, Abirami Mega Mall.

  2. Rachel says:

Ah, when was mother’s day? :)

  3. Signil says:

    LMAO

Actually that would be kinda fun :P

  4. Vin says:

I hate it when commercial organisations make up useless occasions/events and popularise them to earn more money. Days for parents, Days for children, Days for having sex. Beh!!

  5. George says:

Wait, what exactly is the problem with days for having sex? I mean, nothing stops you from it the rest of the days either.

  6. selerines says:

Each and every one will have separate style of celebrating certain days… That depends on their desire. But these type of things are really useless….

  7. Praveen says:

Dai! You better not recommend the damn snowfall thing to anybody!!! It is likely to be similar to the one I went to at Island Grounds! Worshhhhhhhhht!

  8. Arun says:

Why not submit this to failblog?

  9. Marc Z says:

I suppose a few people didn’t understand that the point of this post is the phrase ‘Put Mom In Snow’ and not the commercialisation of Mother’s Day.

Arun, the Americans won’t understand this very well. Plus it’s a poor quality image.

  10. George says:

Okay, what does it really mean? I mean, what were they trying to say?

  11. Rachel says:

You can put any body’s mom in snow, it doesn’t have to be YOUR mom.

No wait, maybe i am wrong :(

  12. Vivek says:

very nice…but this “concept” is a copy

way back,in MTV i think, for fathers day,the MTV group had a poll where in the question was How will you make your daddy cool?
and among the various options provided, put ice on your dad was one of them! :D

  13. Marc Z says:

George, they were trying to get people to invite mothers to their snow room thing. However their horrible grasp of the language makes it seem like an instruction manual written in English by the Chinese.

Vivek, nice work missing the point entirely and making such an obscure allusion.

  14. George says:

Ha ha, yes, the Chinese. Like this: http://digg.com/odd_stuff/The_best_Chinese_restaurant_name_ever

Forgive my ignorance, but what on earth is a snow room.

  15. Marc Z says:

A hall where they get machines to generate ice and frost which they pass off as snow. See Praveen’s link.

  16. Hari says:

LOL. ya i read praveen’s blog before. “put mom in snow” !!! me still laughing. :D
