Saddam Hussein had no experience of fighting wars. He was good at politics though. Damn, he could have sunken a few American ships with those planes.

He was obviously counting on them withdrawing after a while. In the first Gulf War he kept them in neighbouring countries’ airbases.
Or then again, maybe he just liked looking at them planes. Pretty planes.
