Well, a particular person in my office (can’t name him here) flaunts it wherever he goes! It does look really cool… But as for usage, well, I haven’t seem him use it much, so dunno much about it…

Stone is waaay better. People don’t think you’re a hairdresser/Fashion designer/Homosexual when you use it in front of them.
It’s durable and makes a good weapon.

I don’t think it’s worth it at Rs. 32000, but it is pretty slick, you have to admit. I’ve seen a couple of people using it on the train and it does look good.

Since iPhone is just a mobile having almost same amount of features as like other brands. But compared to others it costs so much, thats why I said it is waste of money. But if you compare the prices of other mp3 players like Sony, Philips, Transcend and so on with Apple iPod the cost is more over same. As far as I inquired here to my nearest Sony World shop Sony mp3 player costs around 2500 INR. iPod costs around 2600 INR. The same thing for others brands too. The only difference is we can have FM in addition to music player in all these MP3 players. But in iPod we don’t have FM. for me I don’t need FM, because it is just a waste of time to hear in to 5 minutes music and 15 minutes advertisement. By seeing all these things buying an iPod is not a waste of money for me since the price is same as like other brands. To say the truth the quality of sound and music is really awesome. I can really able to feel the real music through it. In case of iPhone, just for a mobile I am not ready to waste that much money.

He already has such a phone. He said that it got old (it’s 1 year old) and the sound deteriorated. I think he finds ‘real music’ from the Shuffle simply because he has better headphones.

Long time. Apple is highly over-rated and overly hyped. Just like the Indian cricket team
Anyway, I just wanted to pitch in on Shivakumar thinking that Shuffle is OK. It’s not. It doesnt have a display unlike other players in the same price range. Remove an LCD display and you expect the price to be less. Instead it costs more. Agreed the earphones by “Altec Lansing” (right ?) is good compared to the earphones that are bundled with other players. But try the Zen Aurvana or some other comparable ear phone and you will know what sound quality is.
Also, sound quality isn’t that easy to measure.
So, the bottom line is shuffle is an mp3 player
minus FM player
minus LCD display
and costs more.
That’s Apple for you. Correct me if I am wrong.

Although there are no gr8 features in iPhone it’s because of its brand name iphone stands unique in market. and for ppl who often change their mobiles for vetti banda and prestige its really a gift.If iApple would have introduced the same iphone for 50k then also ppl who bought now would have bought it for that price !
